Refilling your prescription

Users can effortlessly view their active medications and request refills. The design allows for individual medication selection or auto-refill services, addressing the issue of missed refills. Users appreciated the ability to add multiple payment options and enable auto-refill services, and visual indicators for refill eligibility and expiration dates boost user confidence in medication management. The refill confirmation and payment method screens simplify transactions, allowing multiple payment options and auto-refill services.

Simplifying payments

Simultaniously building the web and mobile app we discovered with user research that users needed a streamlined way to manage their medication payments. Users can easily see their current medications and payment status. The payment details popup offers transparency on insurance contributions and user payments, minimizing confusion about costs.

The first step: transfering your medication

User research revealed that transferring prescriptions between pharmacies was a major pain point for many users. The interface shown addresses this by providing a simple, intuitive process for finding and transferring prescriptions. Users can search for their current pharmacy, input their personal information and select medications to transfer, with an option to transfer all medications if needed.

Building the web app simulatiously to the mobile app

Competitor reviews highlighted that other trading apps force users through several steps before making a withdrawal. The product, design, and development team streamlined this process for Quick Trade users, shipping the minimum viable experience needed to securely provide customers with all they need to complete withdrawals.

Tracking delivery and medicine information

Refill Tracking: The refill request status screen allows users to track the progress of their refill request. This transparency reduces anxiety and uncertainty about when their medication will be available

Detailed Status Updates: The second screen provides detailed updates on each step of the refill process, ensuring users are informed about the current status and any actions taken by the pharmacy. This level of detail helps users feel more in control of their medication management

Medication Information: The third screen offers comprehensive details about each medication, including insurance payments, refills left, and usage directions. This information helps users manage their medications more effectively and ensures they have all necessary details at their fingertips.

Early process of the design system

When creating this early design system, I began by understanding the project's requirements, user needs, and developing an early brand identity. I established core elements like color palettes, typography, and icons to align with the brand. I created a library of reusable UI components, ensuring they were flexible and adaptable. Documenting design principles, usage guidelines, and best practices for each component was key in ensuring that the research, prototype and design system were scalable for the time in which this would be passed to another design team.
